2021 CLASSES & ENTRY FEES

CLASS 1 - OPEN
Professional trainers or anyone who feels comfortable in this type of competition.
Two horses allowed.  CCHA judging rules.

CLASS 2 – NON-PRO
Any person who holds a current CCHA Non-Pro card or any person determined by the CACHC to be a Non-Pro. One horse allowed. CCHA judging rules.

CLASS 3 – NOVICE HORSE - $3,000 Limit
A horse that is ready to enter CCHA Novice Horse classes and has won less than $3,000 in any approved cutting horse association, excluding three-year-old futurities only. (Derby and ages event winnings must be included in dollars won.) Single-handed class. Two horses allowed. CCHA judging rules.

CLASS 4 – Non-Pro Novice Horse-5000 Limit Horse
A Non Pro class and a horse that has earnings which do not exceed $5000 (This is no longer a combined class). Single-handed class. One horse allowed. CCHA judging rules.

CLASS 5 - $2,000 LIMIT RIDER
Rider earnings that do not exceed $2,000 in any approved cutting association or winter series, excluding ranch classes. Horse may have been shown before. Single-handed class. Year-end winner must move up. One horse allowed.  CCHA judging rules.

CLASS 6 - $500 LIMIT RIDER
Rider earnings that do not exceed $500 in any approved cutting association or winter series, excluding ranch classes. Horse may have been shown before. Single-handed class. Year-end winner must move up. One horse allowed. CCHA judging rules.

CLASS 7 – OPEN RANCH - $500 Full Bridle Limit 
Open to everyone including trainers. Horses that have won over $500 in a full bridle class, excluding futurity earnings, are not eligible.  Snaffle bits only. No shanked bits allowed. Two horses allowed. 

**NOTE: This is a ONE HANDED CLASS 
CLASS 8- 2500L OPEN TRANSITION FULL BRIDLE CLASS
– Open to everyone including trainers. Horses that have won over $2500 in a full bridle class excluding futurity earnings are not eligible. One handed class.  No penalty for reining (one handed).  Both snaffle & shanked bits allowed. Two horses allowed.

CLASS 9- NOVICE NON PRO RANCH $500 FULL BRIDLE LIMIT (Used Cattle - $100 entry fee) - Excludes horse trainers who receive any type of remuneration. Open to any person who holds a current CCHA Non-Pro card or any person determined by the CACHC to be a Non-Pro. Horses that have won over $500 in a full bridle class are not eligible. Snaffle bits only. No shanked bits allowed. One horse allowed.

CLASS 10 –YOUTH -17 AND UNDER FULL BRIDLE
Single-handed class. One horse only.  Youth Cattle Charges may be subsidized when possible.

CLASS 11 – NOVICE YOUTH CLASS – 17 AND UNDER $500 LIMIT RIDER CLASS,   ANY BIT, RANCH RULES
Snaffle OR Shanked bit allowed, 2 hands allowed. One horse only. Youth Cattle Charges may be subsidized when possible.

CLASS 12 – Bridleless (MUST include costume & music)

NOTE: Youth Classes will run as a combined class. Those who attend 50% of shows are eligible for the Year end Championship Buckle along with Reserve prizes.

Final decisions on eligibility at the discretion of the CACHC Directors.

*Important*

  • There will be a $25.00 service charge for all NSF Cheques.
  • All late entries will be charged $20.00 late fee per entry and be placed at the bottom of the draw.
  • Anyone that enters and then does not cut will be charged; cattle fees, office and secretary charges, unless the rider can produce a vet certificate proving the entered horse was lame.
  • Entry fees must be paid & waivers signed before you show.
  • E-transfers will be accepted for membership and for entry fees (if paid by Tuesday 9pm preceding the show date). They will NOT be accepted after this cutoff time or at shows.
  • E-transfers can be sent to centralcutters.clubsecretary@gmail.com -- include your name and what the e-transfer is for (i.e. May 22, 2021 show entry fees, single membership).
  • Cash or cheques are accepted at the show.
  • Enter online or by email only -- you will then receive an email confirmation. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure the entry is(are) accurate and if not, to contact the club secretary immediately to report omissions/errors and the situation will be rectified.
  • Be sure both horse and rider are eligible before you enter a class ***YOUTH ARE NOT PERMITTED TO RIDE STALLIONS***
  • Both rider and horse owner must be members of the CACHC.
  • Class draws will be posted on FaceBook on Friday's at 6 pm - the order of go and draws are subject to change, and participants are responsible to ensure they are on the grounds in sufficient time to show.
  • Show starts @ 10:00am unless otherwise posted.
